Celebration of the Sacraments
Every good blessing go to those who are
celebrating the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion
during the month of May.
Especially, we pray for the children of
St. Martin’s N.S. in Brittas this weekend
and the young men and women
of Scoil Chronain who celebrated
their confirmation last Wednesday.

St. Joseph Young Priests' Society
The next meeting of the St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society will be held on Friday 7th May at 6.30 pm. All are very welcome.

Cemetry Mass
For your diary! Cemetery Sunday in Saggart will take place on Sunday 4th July! Bohernabreena Cemetry Mass will be on 20th June 3pm
Mass for the Deceased and Past Employees
of the Swiftbrook Papers Mills
Will be held on Sunday 23rd May 2010 at 11.00 am in Saggart Church.
Refreshments afterwards in the Heritage Centre. All are welcome.

Rathcoole Community Centre
Rathcoole Community Centre will be holding it’s A.G.M.
on the 25th May at 8.30 pm in the Centre.
All are encouraged to attend. Any motions must be left with the Secretary two weeks prior to the date of the meeting.

Celebrations to mark the 4th centenary of the death of Matteo Ricci SJ (1610 – 2010): 400 THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH OF FR MATTEO RICCI SJ – THE WISE MAN FROM THE WEST. Saturday, May 8th. There will be a Conference in Gonzaga College, Sandford Road, Dublin 6 Time: 9.30 - 3.00pm (including lunch) Four speakers will address topics such as Matteo Ricci‘s life and work among the Chinese people, the Church in China today, and the situation of the Irish Jesuits in China today.
Sunday, May 9th: Mass will be celebrated at 12.30 pm in St. Francis Xavier Church, Gardiner St., Dublin 1.
This will be organized by members of the Chinese community in Dublin, with a certain mixture of languages. The celebrant will be Fr. John Sardis SJ, Provincial and the homilist will be Fr. John Hue Lee SJ, Delegate of the Provincial for China. Refreshments will be served in the church corridor after Mass. All welcome.

Second Chance Saturday
2nd Chance, in Westland Row Church, have reached the 5 year milestone and through all of the ups and downs they’re still here.
2nd Chance firmly believes that the way forward is in the Welcome. Come and experience for yourselves on May 8th at 7pm, Westland Row.

An International Mass and Festival of Cultures:will be celebrated in Rathmines church on Sunday 9th May at 6pm.
This is our third year holding this Mass, which is a wonderful celebration
of the life and richness that our many international parishioners
bring to our faith commmunity.
